Dana S. Kilborne joined the Health First Board of Trustees in October 2017. She serves as Co-President and Chief Commercial Officer of Sunshine Bank, and additionally serves as a Director of the bank and holding company, Sunshine Bancorp. Kilborne is a member of the Board of Directors for the Jacksonville Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. She is also a Director of NCMIC Insurance Company, based in Des Moines, Iowa.
Kilborne previously served as founding President and Chief Executive Officer of Florida Bank of Commerce and FBC Bancorp, Inc. Her 30-year banking career includes executive roles from Central Florida to South Florida.
Kilborne also serves as a board member for a number of community organizations, including: Chair-Elect of Economic Development Commission of the Space Coast; Immediate Past Chair of Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy; as a Director of East Coast Zoological Society of Florida; Florida Bankers’ Association; and Florida Hospital’s Cardiovascular Institute Foundation. She served as Chair of the 2014 Florida Bankers’ Association Annual Convention, Chair of the Economic Development Commission Ad Valorem Tax Abatement Council and as a member of the Brevard County Blue Ribbon Transportation Committee. She received her Bachelor of Science in Finance from Canisius College in 1984 and Master of Business Administration from the Stonier Graduate School of Banking in 1997. She received the Orlando Business Journal Women Who Mean Business 2014 Award.
She and her husband, Briggs, have three children and live on Merritt Island.
