Kevin S. Pruett

Pruett has been a member of the Health First Board of Trustees since 2007. He also serves on the Health First Insurance Board of Directors. He has a successful 28-year record of accomplishment managing government and commercial technology business. He is currently vice president for the Aerospace Sciences & Engineering Division with ENSCO, Inc. in Cocoa Beach. In this capacity, he manages multiple aerospace and aviation programs as well as overseeing the company's meteorological science business with customers such as NASA, National Weather Service, US Air Force, Federal Aviation Administration and many commercial aerospace and aviation clients.

Prior to joining ENSCO in 2004, Pruett spent 18 years with Harris Corporation in the financial management, contract management and business development arenas. He received multiple awards for consistent outstanding performance as a top Harris Business Development professional. Pruett was also the program director for wireless asset tracking products at Terion Inc., a venture start-up formed by Harris and Penske Corporation.

Pruett began his career with Rockwell International in Downey, California as a cost analyst on the Space Shuttle Program in 1982. Pruett received a BSBA degree from the University of Florida and earned his MBA, with a concentration in contract management, from Florida Tech. Pruett also achieved a professional designation as a Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM) from the National Contract Management Association (NCMA). Pruett served three terms on the Cocoa Beach City Commission from 2003-2012. Prior to his election, he served two years as chairperson for the Cocoa Beach Board of Adjustment. He is a member of the Brevard County Civilian-Military (CivMil) Organization and is a licensed Florida Real Estate Broker.
