Bob is accountable to maximize the contributions of every Health First team and associate through the effective and efficient recruitment, employment, assessment, development, engagement, collaboration, and retention of committed, high-performing team members. His direct responsibilities include human resources operations, talent management, employee relations, education and training, and pastoral care at Health First.

Bob previously served as assistant personnel director at Lakeland Regional Medical Center and later as director of employee relations and vice president of human resources at Holmes Regional Medical Center before taking on his current responsibilities as one of the founding officers of Health First in 1995.

Bob was instrumental in leading the integration of Health First Cape Canaveral Hospital, Health First Holmes Regional Medical Center, and Health First Palm Bay Hospital when the three hospitals merged to form Health First in 1995. More recently he led the staffing and training of all associates before the opening of Health First Viera Hospital in 2011. Since Health First was formed in 1995, he has successfully developed engagement of staff and teams throughout Health First.

After earning a bachelor of science degree in industrial relations at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Bob earned his master of business administration degree at Florida Institute of Technology.
