Chemical Peels

Chemical peels offer several types of acid solutions to improve and smooth the texture of your facial skin. These acid solutions work by removing the outer layers of damaged skin. Chemical peels have proven to be among the most popular non-surgical cosmetic procedures chosen by patients because they provide outstanding, long-lasting results, with little or no downtime.

Chemical peels vary according to their specific ingredients, strengths and applications. The actual depth of the peel can also depend on other considerations such as how long the solutions remain on the skin, and if they are applied lightly, heavily or vigorously. The most commonly performed peel procedures can be applied lightly in order to smooth rough dry skin and aid in the control of acne.

Several types of peels are offered varying in strength, depending on your skin type and condition. A series of peels is often recommended for optimum results. Below is a menu of our chemical peels.

Menu of Chemical Peels

Vi Peel™… offers significant improvement and delivers noticeable results after just one treatment. It is a true, restorative, painless repair for sun or acne damaged skin, and is also highly effective in treating hyperpigmentation and melasma. Safe enough to use around the eye area, neck, chest and hands, it's key ingredients include Retinoic Acid, Vitamin C, Hydroquinone, Salicylic Acid, Phenol, and TCA (Trichloroacetic Acid). Strengths can vary depending on application, and powerful boosters which can be added.

Rejuvenize Peel®… an advanced formulation of peeling agents, with a built-in anti-irritant and penetration enhancer, provides controlled exfoliation of the uppermost layers of damaged skin, revealing smoother, healthier skin. Moderate peeling can last 2 to 5 days, and a series of 3 is recommended over a 3 to 6 month period.

Vitalize Peel®… is well tolerated for patients with mild to moderate skin concerns. It helps fight the effects of time, sun damage and environmental assaults, and increases collagen production to help smooth fine lines.

Illuminize Peel… this "Red Carpet" peel can enhance your skin, brighten and tighten, before that big event. Our mildest peel means you can be treated in the afternoon and be ready to go by evening. It's also a great way to kick-start your way to more beautiful, glowing skin.

Following your chemical peel treatment, the outer layers of the skin peel away within a few days. As it heals, new skin will be revealed, thus making it more sensitive to sun exposure. Therefore, it is extremely important to protect your new skin from the sun's harmful rays, with sunscreen. To achieve the best results and help maintain and rejuvenate healthy skin, patients should continue an effective skin regimen using medical-grade skin care products. We recommend Obagi® and/or SkinMedica®. Vital to improving skin texture, appearance and diminishing age spots, as well as fine lines, wrinkles and acne, using superior quality products which are supported by clinical research, is part of our plan for your success to achieve a better outcome!
