Wart Removal

Warts can be small, painless growths consisting of thick layers of skin that are caused by a virus. Warts can spread from one part of your own body to another. They may also spread from one person to another, although uncommon. The typical wart is a raised round or oval growth on the skin with a rough surface.

Treatment is available if you do not like how the wart looks or if it is painful. Warts may be removed by cryosurgery, curettage, electrosurgery, laser surgery or injections with chemicals. Topical (over the counter and prescription) treatments are also available.

If you're experiencing a skin disorder or discomfort from a sore or lesion, call Dr. Bishop's office for an appointment to discuss a treatment plan that can help you live a life with healthier skin.
