Monthly plan premiums for people who get extra help from Medicare to pay for their prescription drug costs

If you get extra help from Medicare to help pay for your Medicare prescription drug plan costs, your monthly plan premium may be lower than what it would be if you did not get extra help from Medicare. The amount of extra help you get will determine your total monthly plan premium as a member of our plan.

Florida Hospital Care Advantage's premium includes coverage for both medical services and prescription drug coverage.

If you aren't getting extra help, you can see if you qualify, by calling:

  • 1-800-MEDICARE (1.800.633.4227) or TTY/TDD users should call 1.877.486.2048 (24 hours a day / 7 days a week),
  • Your State Medicaid Office, or
  • The Social Security Administration at 1.800.772.1213. TTY/TDD users should call 1.800.325.0778 between 7 am and 7 pm, Monday through Friday.

If you have questions, please call Customer Service toll free at 1.855.882.6467 (TDD/TTY relay 1.800.955.8771) weekdays from 8 am to 8 pm and Saturdays from 8 am to noon. From October 1 through February 14, we're available seven days a week from 8 am to 8 pm. If you call after hours, you can leave a message and we'll return your call the next business day. To access TDD/TTY services for the hearing impaired, contact the Florida Relay Center at (800) 955.8771 during the same hours.

Florida Hospital Care Advantage is administered by Health First Health Plans. Health First Health Plans is an HMO plan with a Medicare contract. Enrollment in Health First Health Plans depends on contract renewal.
