Every year, nearly 300,000 people fracture their hip. One quarter of these people end up in nursing homes and half never regain normal function. This lecture will discuss how to manage osteoporosis once diagnosed, followed by treatment involving a healthy diet, specific exercise and choosing the right medication if needed.
