Health First Foundation Benefit Ball Set for April 16 Annual Fundraiser to Benefit Health First Cancer Institute
ROCKLEDGE, FL - The Health First Foundation Benefit Ball will be Saturday, April 16, at the Charles and Ruth Clemente Center on the Florida Institute of Technology campus. This year's Benefit Ball, themed A Walk in Wonderland, will benefit the Health First Cancer Institute, which is committed to providing the most comprehensive, state-of-the-art cancer care for our community.
The funds raised at the 2016 Health First Foundation Benefit Ball will enable the Health First Cancer Institute to provide the resources and—more importantly—the hope our neighbors, friends and family members need to win their battle with cancer. With a multidisciplinary team and Brevard County's only gynecologic oncologists, Health First Cancer Institute is committed to enabling patients to stay close to their friends, family and neighbors utilizing clinical pathways, onsite lab and advanced technology in a supportive and caring environment with multiple locations for convenience.
Over the past 34 years, the Health First Foundation Benefit Ball has raised more than $5 million for health and wellness services in our community. Last year's Benefit Ball raised more than $451,000 for the Health First Cancer Institute. Previous beneficiaries include the Breast Center, Hospice, Telemedicine – Emergency/Trauma Department, the daVinci Robotic Surgical System, Bright Star, VitalWatch, Digital Mammography Equipment, NICU at Health First's Holmes Regional Medical Center, the Stroke Program and the Peripheral Vascular Laboratory.
This event features great food, music and dancing and more than 500 people are expected to attend. Individual and Corporate sponsorships are available. For sponsorship information, please contact Rachel Nave Hobgood, Administrator Special Events for the Health First Foundation, at 321.434.7353 or email@example.com.
