Health First Foundation Benefit Ball Set for April 18
Annual Fundraiser to Benefit Health First Cancer Services
ROCKLEDGE, FL – The Health First Foundation Benefit Ball will be Saturday, April 18 at The Clemente Center on the Florida Tech campus. This year’s Benefit Ball will help fund Health First Cancer Services, which provides compassionate and state-of-the-art care for cancer patients right here in Brevard County. Over the past 33 years, the Benefit Ball has raised more than $5 million for health and wellness services in our community.
The elegant event features great food, music and dancing and more than 500 are expected to attend. Debbie Keller will serve as the 2015 Benefit Ball Committee Chair. The Benefit Ball is currently in the planning stages for another successful year, and Health First is also looking for generous sponsors to help support this worthy cause. Individual and Corporate sponsorships are available. Al and Becky Dukes will co-chair the event Underwriting Committee. A special cocktail party to honor underwriters will be held mid-March at a private residence.
Last year’s Benefit Ball raised $343,000 for the Health First Breast Centers. Past beneficiaries have included Hospice, Telemedicine – Emergency/Trauma Department, the daVinci Robotic Surgical System, Bright Star, VitalWatch, Digital Mammography Equipment, NICU at Health First’s Holmes Regional Medical Center, the Stroke Program and the Peripheral Vascular Laboratory.
