Lucia A. Gildea is a Physician Assistant specializing as an Intensivist and Nocturnist at Holmes Regional Medical Center. She is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and has an extensive background in pain management, intensive care units and palliative care.

Before her role at Health First, Gildea worked as a Physician Assistant at Ocala Regional Hospital in Ocala, FL. She completed her Physician Assistant training at Saint Vincent’s Catholic Medical Center in New York, NY and completed a surgical residency at Montefiore Hospital in Bronx, NY. She earned a Master of Science in Special Education from Adelphi University in Garden City, NY and a Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania.

Gildea is a member of the Association of Family Practice Physician Assistants, the American Academy of Physician Assistants, and the New York State Society of Physician Assistants. She is certified in basic cardiac life support, advanced cardiac life support and pediatric advanced life support by the American Heart Association. She is licensed as a Physician Assistant in Florida, New York and New Jersey.
