MyChart Scam Awareness

Phishing emails and text messages using the MyChart name and logo have been reported across the U.S. These scams may attempt to steal login credentials, Medicare or insurance information, payment details, or other personal information.

Protect yourself:

• Check the sender carefully. Be cautious of urgent messages, unfamiliar contact information, misspellings, unusual website addresses, or offers for free gifts, Medicare kits or other rewards.
• Never share your MyChart password or provide personal, financial, insurance or medical information in response to an unsolicited message.
• Never install software, run commands or provide remote access to someone claiming they need to “fix” your account.
• If you receive a message, log into your MyChart account through the app to securely access information and avoid clicking unexpected links.

If you think your account may have been compromised, change your password and confirm that your contact information has not been altered.
