The Health First Center for Family Caregivers offers educational programs, support groups, workshops, and community events designed to help family caregivers build skills, find support, and navigate the challenges of caring for a loved one. These programs provide practical resources, expert guidance

Caregiver education 

We know how challenging it can be to care for the older adults in your life. Our classes help you gain the skills and confidence to give compassionate care and also take care of your own wellness and health. You can do this. We can help. 

Caregiving essentials

This 30-hour program is our signature training class to help you find creative and practical tips to handle difficult situations, emotions, decisions and communication challenges. Learn to reduce stress, find hope and live well. 

Caring for the caregivers

This monthly lecture series presented by Dr. Visa Srinivasan focuses on you, the caregiver, to help you find solutions and strategies to improve your quality of life.

 

Support groups

Caregivers unite. Be with people who understand and make new friends at our caregiver support groups. Share your emotions in a safe place and learn problem-solving strategies.
